This was the first time my wife and I travelled with AAT Kings and it was an outstanding experience - excellent logistics, comfortable busses, very helpful and informative guides (particularly SOL who took care of us during the King’s Canyon-Alice Spring leg!). We look very much for to two more tours with AAT Kings in Darwin ahead of us!

Amazing the team from AAT Kings are, they made the experience worthwhile. Did the trip around Uluru , watched the sunset and sunrise and BBQ with knowledgeable/funny driver Dylan, Kayla and team, it was like having your mate on the trip with you. Loved Uluru, the history, the experience of walking around the base, touching it too and overall being there was epic and felt safe. The next day we went to Kings Canyon, did a tour and went on to Alice springs, the driver was Gary, he was very knowledgeable and a really nice guy who made the journey interesting and he really looked after us all well, if it weren't for him it would have been awful! Those two locations we would not have picked to visit and would not recommend to visit, this was offered as a 3 day package by our tour operator. The hotel in Kings canyon was very out dated and some of the facilities did not work and in Alice springs even though we stayed at the Hilton hotel we were approached and made fun of by drunk locals which we found intimidating and unsafe!

The tour was great but the lack of timely information on timing and events was a definite issue that we had to fix with phone calls

From the service we received booking this trip, through to the delivery of the experience, AAT hit the target and would come highly recommended from us. We needed quite a bit of advice and guidance concerning what to do and how it all works, and we were trying to fit the AAT tour in alongside other activities we had planned for our time in the area. The AAT team in the UK could not have been more accommodating and made the daunting task of assemblng an itinerary really painless! Once in resort, the AAT drivers and guides were always on hand, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and helped make the experience special. Be aware, there is a LOT of travelling involved in covering all of this experience! The distances are vast, perhaps more than we gave them credit for even though we'd looked on maps and read reviews! But AAT made it pleasurable, with interesting and humorous commentaries by the drivers and well appointed, comfortable coaches, so the journies never seemed arduous. The activities were well managed and efficient without ever feeling like we were on a production line. If you visit this area you MUST do the Sound of Silence dinner - unbelievable! If you go to Kings Canyon, take the spa room if you can, it's well worth the extra few dollars. The walk around the top of the canyon is well worth the effort too, with stunning views and amazing facts conveyed to us by the guide. And whilst it is there, the Field of Light installation is wonderful to behold. Overall, a first class experience and we feel like we got real value from our time in central Australia. Would not hesitate to recommend AAT to anyone planning a similar trip.

The 3 day tour was value for its money. Without stress, we have seen the most important things. I recommend to do the rim walk in Kings Canyon if you are young and in good shape (you don’t have to be an athletic guy). The barbecue was nice but I am not sure if value for its money. The barbecue itself was nothing special. It was presented as a Australian barbecue but there was only kangaroo meet and the rest was pretty regular meet. The description of the night sky at the end was awesome. If there is any possibility to only do this, do it!!!!

This tour packed so much in without feeling too rushed. The guides were knowledgeable and very willing to share that knowledge. Thank you especially to Adam who provided cultural, geological and botanical insights into this awe inspiring part of this country. Yes, the sunrise and sunsets were crowded and this detracted a bit from the experience - but this is a tour and that is to be expected. Kata Tjuta is as stunning as people tell you and is not to be missed. The trip to Kings Canyon shows how fragile the landscape is and enhances a profound respect to the first peoples who knew how to take care of it. The Kings Canyon rim walk is for the fit and should not be underestimated. The valley walk is lovely but very popular. There is also an option for a helicopter tour - so think about this if you want an aerial view. It would have been great to spend more time exploring Uluru by walking around its base - so factor this in if you are so inclined.

A packed short break that we could only marvel at. Sunsets and sunrises at both Uluru and Kata Tjuta with walks and excellent guides. Tony was our favourite guide with such clear diction and explanations of our exploration of Uluru. All the guides (and drivers) were magnificent and we learnt so much about the desert plants and geology and of course about the indigenous people of the area. We stayed at Desert Gardens Hotel which was great as were the free activities at the Yalara resort. We were disappointed with the accommodation and restaurant at Kings Canyon, so perhaps a better choice would have been to do Kings Canyon as a day trip from Uluru. I highly recommend AAT Kings for this trip. Our trip with AAT Kings from Broome to Darwin was also a fantastic trip, as was a trip earlier this year to the South Island of New Zealand.

This tour comparison excellent, they picked me up from the airport, took me to the hotel. The buses were always on time and drivers and guides very knowledgeable. David was especially helpful, as when we couldn’t go to the Olgars, they took us to another Walt at the rock. It wasn’t thei r fault that there was a bush fire blocking the road. Transfer to Kings canyon good, although a long day. Then back to Alice springs. Thank you especially as I got an upgrade on my hotel in Ayres rock resort.

This tour is amazing. Uluru cannot be described. You have to see it. And this tour allowed for that. Included was sunrise at Uluru and Kata Tjuta, an amazing trip to Kings Canyon with a canyon walk, and travel on to Alice Springs. Our guide, Marcel, was knowledgeable, entertaining, and very focused on our needs. We were there during the heat wave of January of 2019, and it was important that the guide know the implications. We saw amazing sights, birds and other wild life. I highly recommend this trip.
