Lark Hill is one of the original Canberra Wineries, established in 1978. The vineyard, at 860m, is one of the highest in the district, and is highly awarded for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Gruner Veltliner. Lark Hill owns a second vineyard in the Canberra District; 'Dark Horse' at Murrumbateman. This vineyard was established in 2001 and at 620m is considerably warmer than Lark Hill, ripening Shiraz, Sangiovese & Viognier perfectly.Lark Hill is certified Biodynamic & Organic; we maintain a strong commitment to sustainability and successfully manage our vineyard with no chemical inputs.
